| Britain and Ireland Itinerary:
Day 1 London to York, England - dinner is included. We leave London for the university town of Oxford. Then to Stratford-upon- Avon, famous for being the home of Shakespeare. We finish the day with an evening Ghost walk in York. ---------- Day 2-4 York to Edinburgh, Scotland. First up is Hadrian's Wall, the northernmost outpost of Roman Britain. Then it's off to beautiful Scotland and its capital, Edinburgh. Our walking tour takes in Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street and Charlotte Square. Then we have a free day to explore Edinburgh's cobbled streets or take an optional trip to see the scenic Scottish Highlands. (B,D) (B) (B) ---------- Day 5 Edinburgh to Glasgow - breakfast is included. En route to Glasgow we make a stop at a whiskey distillery for an optional tour and tasting. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening in Glasgow. ---------- Day 6 Glasgow to Belfast, Northern Ireland - breakfast is included. A drive through the beautiful Scottish countryside takes us to Stranraer where we catch our ferry to Belfast. Here we see the ever changing face of this friendly, vibrant city. ---------- Day 7-8 Belfast to Galway, Republic of Ireland - breakfast is included. This morning we head off to the impressive Giant's Causeway. Then on to Londonderry, a city constantly reinventing itself. From here we continue to Galway. ---------- Day 9 Galway to Killarney - breakfast is included. Today we drive through the Burren to see the dramatic Cliffs of Moher before arriving in Killarney, a lakeside Irish village in lush County Kerry. ---------- Day 10-11 Killarney to Dublin. Our drive today takes us to Blarney Castle before reaching Dublin. We begin our stay with a walking tour of the city'shistoric sights. Then we're off for an afternoon at the Guinness Storehouse. A morning ferry across the Irish Sea to stunning North Wales. ---------- Day 13 Llangollen to Cardiff - breakfast and dinner included. Europe's youngest capital city. Cardiff is a fantastic mix of old and new, and its nightlife is legendary. ---------- Day 14 Cardiff to London - breakfast is included.
