 Dawn Balloon Ride includes:
- 30 minute scenic Tablelands balloon flight - Flight certificate - Hot and cold breakfast with juice and champagne - Free Mareeba Heritage museum entry - Return accommodation transfers - The Cross Country Balloon Chase - $25 levy per person Departs from Cairns daily at 4:15am, returns approximately 10:30am. Departs Port Douglas for groups on request. Description: For a truly memorable experience, try a 30 minute dawn balloon flight in the Mareeba Valley. As you glide over this picturesque landscape you'll see and hear Australian wildlife such as wallabies and birds as they join the dawn chorus. Afterwards you are treated to a wonderful breakfast at the Mareeba Heritage Centre, with a chance to explore the historic museum before returning to Cairns. Itinerary: Cairns: Depart 4:15am to travel to the Mareeba Valley Pre-dawn: The balloons are inflated in a spectacular display Dawn First Flight: The first flight gracefully lifts off (those on 2nd flight remain on coach) Second Flight: The second flight lifts off (those from 1st flight board coach) Pack-up: Have fun helping pack-up our Giant Balloons Your Aussie cooked breakfast is erved at the Mareeba Heritage Centre with champagne, juices, tea and coffee (vegetarians also catered for) Return to Cairns approximately 10:30am What to Bring:
Children aged between 4-14 years, ballooning is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant. It is a CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) regulation that you are able to climb in and out of the basket unassisted $25 pay on board fee for civil aviation and other insurance charges, take off/landing fees, transfer costs, GST & administration charges is payable on the day of travel.
